The purpose Color de Mexico is to spread awareness about the culture. The group would love for the new generations that might not have deep roots in Mexican culture to discover their identity through folklore and to feel that happiness in dancing.

Ballet Folklórico Alegrías de México team is made up of talented individuals with highly supportive families who encourage their dreams. All dancers are dedicated to preserving and celebrating Mexican culture and traditions. We see dance as a unique artistic medium for expressing one's personality while discovering a sense of identity.
Our group originated as a community service group dedicated to serving the Tri-Cities community, we later added dance to our repertoire.
